       I strive to always show meaningful error messages, but some APIs are actively hostile to that because "security" or some such. XHR/fetch in browsers is one example. If anything fails, you just get an error. That's it. No details. So you're forced to show a generic error message. You only get to choose whether it's phrased normally or it's this modern trendy cutesy crap.
