       @ariadne @whitequark yep me neither (most of the time atleast, sometimes if i'm writing something new myself i might have it on, but in general it's more of a nuisance).Also i dont use tabstospaces "globally" because Makefiles need actual hard tabs, so in the end the one thing i'll actually use is "tabgives" for languages/projects where spaces is the convention.

       @ariadne @lina kinda sad to admit* but rn i still use vscodium mostly for like serious work (because vscode ecosystem has a purple theme i love, also the cpptools extension, haven’t found smth decent that comes close yet to its autoanalysis of any codebase ;-;)Would gladly use smth like zed or even kate tho and i will need to pilot using them soon because i don’t trust vscodium will be sustainable long term (also vscode ecosystem of extensions is proving to have pretty flawed security…need to stop relying on it eventually) (sublime too but $100 for a text editor kinda stings)For cli editing, i’m team nano all the way

       @ariadnevi for forty years. Started when the thing it was running on still needed its own room and ran on an OS called "VMS".I guess I won't be changing to something which uses more screen for its UI than vi.
