       Sad that headlines like “AI will kill all humans before the end of the decade” are needed to finally start TALKING, not acting, no talking about AI safety regulationsI hate to say it but once again..“Too little, too late” the sad story of humanityImagine we get a message from aliens that said: “Humans, we will arrive within 5 years, be ready”Bet the urgency would be a little higher..

       @stux Honestly? All we need is an actual secure protocol. The internet can still be the internet and still be useful. But that we've decided that ports 80 and 443 are the only protocols we should be exploring is silly.

       @stux The big problem with the big AI companies asking for safety regulations is that they don't want safety regulations.They want to slow down new training and development so others won't get near them, they can finally start making money and responsibility is transferred from them to a government watchdog so they can always claim something is "not their fault".
