       Well, a stash of cash.  Dry/canned goods.  AmmoI wish I bought more safety gas cans myself for the emergency generator and to put gas in vehicles if needed.  Edited to add:  I have two refrigerators and two deep freezers.  I'm on a well and my own septic (with a pump) that I need to keep power to.If I have to, I'll eat the boomer neighbors first when I run out of food.

       Lighters are a really good one, because starting a fire without one is a pain in the ass. Also while people frequently stock up on essentials, they rarely think about making sure they have some little treats to have from time to time. There's a reason MREs have a bit of candy, because it makes a real difference for your morale to have a treat from time to time when shit is horrible.
