@moth_ball @hfaust Ooku is a seinen, alternative history in feudal japan where 75% of men have been killed by some kind of pox-like disease. The emperor is secretely a woman, and the inner part of the palace that used to be a female-filled harem is now a male-filled harem. It sounds like a hentai plot but the truth is that it's not a hentai _at all_, there are no sex scenes at all. It focuses on these mens that are now locked into this place and learn about the events happening outside, the state of the country and on the various political struggles. It's kind of a locked door political comment, i really loved it personallyA-Bout is about high schoolers that fight. There is no plot. When something that looks like a plot starts to rise inadvertently, the author deliberately stomps it.
