@ariadne Wait, there's a new Kirigami-based UI for Audacious? What does it look like?

@ariadne it looks nice and I would like this on my phone BUT on desktop, I rock the Winamp 2 skin, and the XDG shortcut to Audacious is named Winamp with the Winamp icon.

@ariadne @win8linux Ah. So then this is just for mobile Linux platforms like Fedora KDE Mobile and postmarketOS then?

@neal @win8linux technically you can use it on desktop, but i have not really done any work to make it 'good' yet

@neal @win8linux for example, clearly the miniplayer should die on desktop mode.

@neal @win8linux keep in mind this literally started less than 24 hours ago when i decided "i'm bored, i will make a kirigami UI for audacious" while my partner was at her D&D game

@neal @win8linux i figure the plan is to design around phones first, then expand to tablet/desktop mode once more of the design language is finalized

@ariadne @neal That's a good plan and one that a lot of KDE's Kirigami-based software have followed too.

@syn_rst audacious has supported ampache for years, but i should make a subsonic plugin too
