So within a span of a month, I've trained two people because the older ones don't want to, and we don't have anyone who's really experienced or thorough enough to do it fast on the weekends. Two of our housekeepers are taking turns filling in for the head housekeeper, our AGM fled (she didn't do her job anyways, so... Yeah, it's pretty nice she's gone, actually), we don't have any linens or towels that aren't already *in* the rooms, so it can take a few hours before anything can be given to guests or even finish one of the rooms so it can be listed as ready in the system :epic: The mattresses, mattress covers, pillows, and pillow covers—basically everything—is stained, and we don't have any mattress covers or pillows so we can switch out the stained crap..one of those mattress covers, I'm pretty sure has a shit stain on it, considering where it's located. But there's nothing we can do about that :cringe: not a single customer gets fined for tearing, staining, or ruining the room in some way, and we have lamps that are literally broke in the rooms. Some of the rooms don't even have sun shades. No fines for destroying any of that :partyblob_schizo: t's also been in the triple digits, and not all of the ACs work in the rooms There's black mold in the entryway of the hotel, and it's spreading into the lobby—manager keeps making maintenance wallpaper over it and put panels on the ceiling to hide it. Some of our doors have been fire hazards for awhile now, but only got replaced recently because some guys from a neighboring fire department stayed in the hotel and told the manager if it didn't get fixed, they were gonna report it and shut the hotel down. Manager spends a whole whopping, 2-3 hours at work, before heading out so she can go to the lake. This schedule has continued, even after losing our AGM, so everything is left to front desk clerks,and whoever is filling in as head housekeeper for the day. Well, now our audit is coming up, and she's blaming us for using stained sheets (because we still haven't gotten any in, so what the hell are we supposed to do right? :weep: )Anywho, now our manager is pissed that the hotel is effectively run into the ground (again), and that if she's going to fail the audit that's coming up (again), then she's going to fire all of us to save her own ass. Straight up to our faces, friggin blaming us for not doing her job for her. Rooms are $200+ a night for roach motel quality btw :lamoooooo:

Actually, the manager screwed over the previous head housekeeper/maintenance lady, because she was trying to keep a room out of the system due to it not having a shower rod in the bathroom, and the manager wouldn't order one to replace the one that broke.Manager went behind her back, relisted the room during her days off, and at least two or three people had to be moved out of that room and complained vehemently about it. So when the former head housekeeper came back to work, the manager told her that it was "my ass or yours, so it's gonna be yours." and essentially demoted her, cut her pay in half and screwed her out of all her vacation days. This lady's been friends with the manager since they were around 14 too. :epic: I don't think corpo will listen to us
