       i get to reset the “number of days since my last creepy parasocial interaction” counter back to zero again.so, saying this yet again, explicitly: if you recognize me in public, please leave me alone.if i’m at a conference or some other event where i’m there to interact with people, come say hi!  if i’m out living my life, especially if i’m with my partner, please just let me exist.i appreciate that people like my work.  that does not mean we know each other.at least this one didn’t involve someone reading my cv out loud to his friends to justify his fandom, so i guess things are improving.please be normal about seeing people you recognize from the internet in public.
