@dangillmor sorry to interrupt, but “vote by mail”? Jeez!I’d say Americans need a modern and secure voting system like the one in Brazil. Unhackable, highly integrated, auditable top-down, with mechanisms to party representatives to verify and sign on results, while keeping secrecy of individual votes protected at all times.US should learn one thing of two from the Brazilian democracy/election system.

@dangillmor Republicans' war on the USPS is larger than its chronic attacks on mail-in voting. They hate it as much as they hate Social Security. They hate a govt service that's provided at cost, which connects communities and their govt. It competes with the private sector. They want its real estate at fire sale value. They want to gut its strong labor unions, the pay and benefits they provide, and to stop it from offering strong stable careers, especially for women and people of color.
