       @nuintari @mxshift I didn’t realize they were that slow by modern standards…. But I’m guessing that even small-ish RSA keys (can modern tools even create RSA keys smaller than 2048-bit?)  would overwhelm an old 32-bit CPU.

       @mxshift @nuintari @JustinDerrick my P233MMX can do 4096-bit RSA, but that takes a noticeable time, and any more is out.For vintage systems, I’d put them into a protected network behind an access box and use something like RSA-512, and something social to make sure all accessing users behave.

       @nuintari @mirabilos @mxshift I just tried making a 512-bit RSA key, and my local version of OpenSSH won't create one that's less than 1024-bits.  :)
