       to be clear, i do not think omarchy or omacom is good, but i can understand what DHH is *pitching* to Dell, for example.it's a bullshit meme distro that he is pitching, but I guarantee you that he isn't selling it that way.no.  DHH is telling Dell that, with their investment, they can eventually ship laptops for developers with Omarchy instead of Windows and save money on Windows licensing.and if you're not seeing that, you aren't looking at all of this from a product perspective

       anyway, DHH is not the only one who can book calls with OEMs.but, as a community, we can only book those calls once.  so we need to have a fucking plan.

       @johntimaeus i am aware of that.  but i'll let you in on a secret.basically nobody buys them.and basically nobody buys the fedora thinkpads either.canonical does not promote them.  red hat does not promote them.that's the difference.
