       @thelinuxEXP Discussing this topic and completely avoiding the Omarchy discourse is not great in my opinion. Especially because of the extreme polarization and dumb takes on it.Your balanced opinions could help the linux community be at least more grounded.Omarchy is here to stay, ignoring it as a user for whatever reason is perfectly fine, but it's not the same for a linux and open source medium.Having said that, this is still the best linux show around, thanks!

       @thelinuxEXP Salut Nick, bonne vidéo, j'ai appris quelque truc sur gnome J'ignorais qu'il y avait autant de haine à son égard. Je l,ai détesté pour 1 seule chose: devoir mettre une extension pour avoir les icônes dans la barre de menu (tjr eu peur que ca casse de koi ds update), mais maintenant je réalise qu'il avait kk avantage sur kde....genre garder la session ssh active ds mon terminal 😂

       @thelinuxEXPFlatpak IS slower than native apps. There is no debate: I develop an app that is distributed on Flatpak. When I run it on my (old and slow) computer the app opens instantly (at least in less than 1s). When I run the Flatpak, it takes 20s to open. The app is the same and it is a really basic app nothing complex or slow.(1/3)

       @thelinuxEXP I think SystemD improved in latest years, but it had a long string of reliability issues that have marked its name. Myself I got some issues with it with suspension and hibernation that I tend to use other distros without it (like Devuan) that never gave me an issue instead. So, usually I preferr to stick on OpenRC or others.However the dependency on SystemD is more a critic I would move to the other projects than attach it to the init itself.
