@coolboymew Yeah, any chance of me double dipping on Age of Calamity was instantly killed off by that shit.Not only that, the Koei Tecmo turbo-niggers did a really shit compression job with Age of Imprisonment, so I'm sure Age of Calamity Definitive Edition will also take up 40+ GB, because Fuck You, that's why.I hope nobody buys that GKC, and Koei Tecmo is decisively shown that Pokopia's success (literally the ONLY GKC that has sold well) was a complete aberration.

@coolboymew But anyway, do we know for sure whether 32 GB Switch 2 cartridges is a new thing, or was this always an option and 3rd parties just put out fake leaks Lying about it? Because I'm pretty damn sure they were Lying about cartridges being too slow for their games.

It's honestly not even that much of a sacrifice, as I already have the game. So what if I don't have super upscaled graphics, that's totally worth not supporting KCs. My real concern is when they'll try this with a brand new entry.

Just canceled it now. The GameStop guy was confused, as he didn't realize it was a KC either, and was just as pissed when he looked it up. He's also a big advocate for physical media, so he completely understood where I was coming from.

@TrueMasterCole @coolboymew I think Koei Tecmo is in for a nasty surprise, this was already a very skippable game the moment it turned out to not simply be a Switch 2 Edition, and it being a GKC is just SUCH a massive con.

Not just that, but the "additions" are *less* than bare bones. More on screen enemies, better graphics, and a new difficulty setting was all that was mentioned. Without a significantly improved roster, mission pool, weapon types, etc. I see no reason why this couldn't have been a 5GB switch 2 upgrade pack. Thankfully, I wasn't too attached to this purchase, and just moved the funds over to a different purchase.
