       Fuck. The e-ink tablets on AliExpress are so tempting, but sellers just don't ship the fucks to Norway.They just simply don't ship it and then I get auto-refunded after 10 days. I want one, but they straight up refuse to send me one. Fuck.

       @quad I had two packages to Germany fail by reason of "unclaimed" despite perfect addressing, matching exactly with how the buyer instructed me, and with what I could determine was standard for German post.Both sent around the same time to different addresses via Canada Post.I had to draw the conclusion that the destination's postal service was putting on a runaround for whatever reason.If I'm going through this as a Canadian, I can't imagine what's happening to Chinese exporters.

       @Vo Oh no, the sellers don't even input a tracking number into AliExpress.AliExpress will give sellers 10 days to ship the package, after that it has a number of days to arrive. Should the tracking never update an auto-refund also happens after a while. Otherwise buyer can request a refund if something goes wrong (within 50 days iirc).Both of these just auto-refunded after 10 days. That means the sellers received the order, but never even bothered to hand the product over to a postal company, then after 10 days AliExpress went "alright then" and sent my money back automatically with no interaction from me.

       @Vo Although this isn't the only time I've seen this. I've ranted enough about how annoying getting stuff into Norway can be.Wouldn't surprise me if the seller saw the order, went "ew, norway" and decided to let the auto-refund happen instead.

       @Vo Oh I doubt that exists.Same as with the DAB -> FM adapters for older cars, 15 years ago there were options, but every one of the few remaining brands have slimmed down their selection to a single model with suspiciously similar specs/features.I reckon that there currently only exists a single DAB->FM chip for making these products now, and said chip includes bluetooth. As such it's impossible to manufacture a new one without bluetooth even if you wanted to, you'll need to hunt for a used one or old-new stock.Would not surprise me if Aux->FM transmitters are in a smiliar boat, even if a brand wants to make one without Bluetooth, such a chip no longer exists, because among the few remaining consumers buying such products, 90% of them want bluetooth and the market isn't big enough to justify two chips existing.

       @Vo I find the e-ink tablet more annoying. Because it exists, they just won't sell it to me.The Boox Note X2 is essentially the china only version of their Note Air2. Main difference being that they removed the microSD slot.And all the brands seem to do this, the original version in china has a microSD slot, then they make an international version where they remove the microSD slot, for seemingly no reason but to make the international version inferior. (In reality it's probably a business decision because int buyers are more likely to pay overly high rates for a storage upgrade, so removing the card slot encourages that).The fix is easy, just buy the chinese one, the firmware even supports English.EXCEPT EVERY SINGLE SELLER REFUSES TO SHIP ME ONE.
