       @Dan_Ramos you know Frozen was the last Hans Christian Andersen story that Walt Disney could freely make a movie about without a copyright infringement. He had done a lot of prep work on it and tried for years to get it made but circumstances kept pushing it back and then Walt Disney died so the project was forgotten about for decades. I think Disney historians brought it back into light in the post Pixar years and Corp decided to finally make the film before someone else did.
