       It will have no appreciable effect on real crime. It will largely only catch those who generally comply with law and the system for petty violations. Sure, there'll be a headline from time to time about how it helped solve murder, but it's really there to control the productive goy cattle.

       I have a counter strategy for this. Civil attorneys need to start sending deposition subpoenas to flock as part of general civil practice. Because of the nature of the evidence, they'll be required to send authenticating witnesses to depositions, and the witness fee won't cover salary, so they'll have to come out of pocket, plus produce discoverable material, fight motions etc (which means paying counsel too). It's an administrative nightmare just waiting to happen.

       the local crime is the red herring, like in most of these cases, that distracts from the government application. The patriot act was a great example of something that never should have existed but was excused because of "muh terrorism" that has been weaponized against normal citizens (white men).
