@itsfoss I think Librewolf is the best choice, it's strongly designed for privacy.Brave is good, but I think the fact that it's chromium-based is a weakness

@itsfoss Brave Origin. Using Firefox at work however (where Edge and Chrome are the only other options).One of the reasons for not using Firefox is that I sync bookmarks and FF on mobile is not as good as Brave IMO.

@itsfoss Firefox since the beginning, Netscape before that, but on macOS Firefox is developing into a real memory hog, not workable… trying Brave, much faster, but also based on Chrome is what I hear, would want to avoid…#browser #brave #firefox

@itsfoss Firefox or forks. Brave is crypto-bro and the PDG is problematic, in particular positions.Alternatively, try Vivaldi if you encounter compatibility issues on websites. Most of the browser is open source (a fork of Opera following its acquisition by Chinese investors), but the design and a few other features are proprietary.

@itsfoss Firefox. I've used it for years and I'm "fairly" happy with it. That said, I've been playing with Helium recently. Chromium-based so it's a bit better with my home-server Foundry worlds but I'm not quite ready to make the jump yet.
