Never played a gatcha game but I just watched a dude play the opening of 10 for a half hour each and holy fuck it's all just visual novels with lootbox waifus and a little bit of gameplay. Holy shit how do these keep people long enough to hook them?

That's why I stay away from those kind of games. Instead of focusing on things that make a game good: like story, battle mechanics, replay value it's only appeal is repetitive action for a chance for positive mental stimulus.

I can't speak for everyone, but for me at least it is less to do with the game and just hanging out with a small group or whatever. In the mornings I like to have it running crazy people to get my morning laughs and usually around afternoon and evening I like relaxing retro streamers where I chat with them about why they should give "the last remnant" a try or whatever. :cat_laugh: I stream because if I'm going to play the game anyway might as well have people pop in and say hi and chat for a bit before they get bored and move on.

The only people outside over here are either boomers in their golf carts, a drug dealer on his bike or homeless addicts walking from A to B for their next hit. Several kids live around me but I might see them out once a month or longer. This is in rural Texas too.

Good question. In Texas I assume they all are being heavy on the jew side, but I personally haven't had any bad experiences with the county. The nearest city cops however are all women and ex gang members and foreigners.

If the sheriff isn't clearing out the bums and dealers, he's either corrupt or under staffed. If it's the former and he for some reason can't be voted out then you're in bit of a pickle when it comes to options. (I wont fedpost about it) If it's the latter then volunteer or apply for a constable role.It all depends on how much you care about that community. Are they worth sticking your neck out for? It ain't easy, nothing worth shit ever is. I hear about the occasional rural shitholes and there's one common thing in particular I hear from those telling me. They don't even know their fucking neighbors name. They could be living right beside them for years and don't even know any of them.
