       One time I worked second shift for an ISP below a colo.  Once or twice a shift I'd have to go up and reboot something or swap or install something.One of the other colo customers was an adult products mail order company.  Those guys were hilarious - always sneaking food and booze into the data center.They weren't very sysadmin, so they would often ask me for help, then try to pay me in company gift cards.  I held out for booze.

       They had a personalized naming scheme for the equipment.  Routers were named after product materials such as leather or plastic.  Servers were named after products, such as lotion or, well, you know.And because I'm a polite young lady, I would just point to the servers named with naughty words.  "You'll need to make the change to that one to get it to talk to handcuffs."I wish I could remember the name of the company and see if they made it out of the dot com bust.

       @tj those were always the best names. Our server at Gartner was sawfly, that was fifteen years ago at least.
