       The back pages of computer magazines were the wild, wild west. Just a few pages away from ads like "Bible bookstore on disk" and "Student-teacher school discounts", you had the "Adult" section... this is actually less than half of what was in just one issue of PC/Computing in January 1995.

       @dec23k Remember that magazines are post-dated by a month, so the January 1995 issue would've hit newsstands in early December 1994, and with publication lead times, that ad copy is probably from October 1994 at the very latest. The first adult web sites (both straight and gay) date back to around May 1995.
