       @apenkop Well, for a home network to be used as a web server you need to forward ports to the right machine within the networkMy dad was convinced that when you open ports, "hackers" could get in and steal all bank data fro your PCI needed port 80, 443 and 300X open but he resetted the modem everytime and after a while there was a closet with a lock build around it :blobcatgiggle:

       @stux My husband was running ethernet and setting up a home server back then too. We had a system downstairs and up in our very old house in Maine.
