Just suspended over ~500 AI accounts.. On top of the 100-200 daily nowadaysI seriously do not see the point other then driving up costs for bullshitSeems like a typical Meta Move™️

@stux Those are TOR exit nodes by the Church of Cyberology. If you want to prevent people from using your server anonymously I suggest blocking all exit nodes instead, not just a specific provider.

@stux That cnet is full of tor exit nodes.Quite a few of these IP-addresses have gotten themselves blocked on our website. Typically by somebody trying a SQL injection or something.

@waffles @stux Do you have any more information on how you set up the signup automations? We've been suffering from these spam signups for months, and while blocking this subnet and disposable emails has/will reduce a lot of it, I'm always interested in other countermeasures.

@stux @waffles we do have a fairly extensive disposable email blocklist already (and that has made a massive impact on the workload for the mods), but there’s still some slipping through the cracks. I’ve made some tweaks at the firewall level which will hopefully cut off the rest.
