       Israeli occupation forces released Palestinian photojournalist Ramez Awad on Thursday, August 27, 2026, after 24 months in Israeli prisons.Photos taken following his release show a stark transformation in his appearance, with Awad looking frail, exhausted and visibly worn down after two years in detention.Awad had already been targeted by Israeli occupation forces before his detention.
