       @Vox I'm prone to "shuffled off this mortal coil".For folks I don't know personally, I might use "went to the giant 'x' in the sky" where 'x" is something entertaining and relevant.  The everlasting soundcheck in the sky.  The giant dog park in the sky.  The giant Chinese buffet in the sky.
