       @bkuhn i've been playing around with building a federated version of audioscrobbler, and one of the features is that you can listen to a live mix of what your friends are listening to using the musicbrainz data

       @ariadne This is great idea. I recall years ago there was a FOSS last.fm replacement, but it was not fully federated.Key feature to me would be a discovery method to find DJs I like and be able to voluntarily give them a small payment when I like a channel.

       @bkuhn yep, that's basically the idea in my head of how this all fits together.  and since it's built on musicbrainz, you can just bring your own sources for the media :)
