       @IngaLovinde @rail it’s not like those huge curved things but it’s wider than average by a decent amount and all the ultra wide ones I’ve seen sacrifice physical resolution to get that width and i HATE seeing the pixels on monitors.Depends on what’s important to you i guess. For me what’s important is no visible pixels and 2 documents side by side, without being skinny windows.

       @masukomi @rail yeah it's just that the original post was about monitors that are narrower than 16:9, not wider (but maybe I misunderstood)

       @IngaLovinde @rail no i just suggested something that wasn’t an exact match because so many of the ultra wide ones turn out to have crap resolution and i felt like Rail might value an option that wasn’t quite what was requested but was probably going to look better for their photography.The idea of ultra-wide is great, but the visible pixels on all of them I’ve looked at is crap.
