       Alguien me enseña como funciona #MicroG? Se necesita root?Yo tengo un Pixel 8a con LineageOS. No le funciona el gps y algunas apps que necesitan google play services. Creo que MicroG lo solucionaría pero no sé como. También, creo que MicroG permite que las aplicaciones envíen notificaciones y consuman menos batería#ayudita #fediask

       @Simx72 is the GPS hardware broken or is location just broken for some apps?microG can be installed normally but will not gain the permission to give location out as a location provider unless it is installed per .zip in recovery or via magisk.lineage os for microG is a easier way to get microG but on the pixel 8a would i rather recommend CalyxOS which is designed to have the bootloader re-locked for security and has microG as system component.

       @Idcrafter oh! Thank you for answeringPhone is new. Nothing is broken. I literally installed Lineage after I bought it and GPS did work before the installation.I really think that it is something related to software and to phone permission to connect with satellites or something related. But I don't know how does Gps work and what the real problem is?I mean. I can activate gps and allow ut for apps, but it will find nothing. And with gps test apps, it finds no satellites

       @Simx72 lineage needs a certain stock rom. version to patch all drivers AFAIK.it could ne that you had no luck and installed it onto a newer stock rom.stuff like CalyxOS ships all stuff making that have everything making it rule out software issues.
