       In other news, a person I used to work with got a job I wanted, but didn't know was open.I'm happy for her, but I'm bummed to see she managed to get a job quickly while I'm still out here struggling.Makes me wonder if there's something insurmountable wrong with me, and maybe I'll never get a decent job ever again.Not an optimistic day.

       @tj Sometimes it's just providence. Things happen for a reason that look bad but ultimately lead you to avoiding something you didn't expect and would regret, and you end up somewhere better.I've learned long ago that even some of the worst moments of my life that I still sometimes wish I didn't have to go through, seem to have led me to dodge a bullet a few times.God bless and don't lose hope. Persistence pays off, in my experience, but I really hope it pays off sooner than later for you.
