Devices like laptops should be neutral in relation to the software they run:🔸 Do not restrict users to specific software. 🔹 Transparent pricing. Consumers should have the right to decline pre-installed software. 🔸  Hassle-free refunds.        @fsfeI once had success, although with some effort, getting a refund for a Samsung laptop's pre installed Windows licence in Portugal. https://oldblog.1407.org/2014/01/10/got-my-windows-refund-and-so-can-you/ #refund4freedom I tried next with an Asus laptop, but I gave up losing my time Now I try to buy without licence pre installed, preferably from a GNU/Linux friendly company (like #slimbook )

       @fsfe I am dreaming💭: One day you can only buy devices #without_OS. On first run it just allows you to connect to the internet, then gives you a list of options to install OS. That way you avoid the hassle of asking for a refund, including sending in your new device to get the unwanted OS removed.
