       The BitWise ScreenStar was a 39-pound 50 MHz 486 "laptop" computer with a giant 21-inch, 1280x1024 resolution gas plasma display that sold for $20,000 in 1993. Sales were very low, possibly even in the single digits -- as of November that year, the company announced the U.S. Navy had bought three of them and ordered three more.
