       The X-Men were created as "mutants", because Stan Lee was tired of explaining how each super hero gained their power. It was actually rather lazy writing. They were just born with it. In the late 70s and 80s Chris Claremont really leaned into "feared and hated by the world". Yeah - the world hated mutants because Magneto was all powerful and terrorized humanity. Anyhow - Claremont was heavy handed with the "marginalized peoples" allegory. And somehow morphed it into the X-Men being compared to..

       Jews and Blacks and homosexuals. But he still had to operate under the Comics Code Authority, which was enacted in the 50s because EC Comics was selling product with bleeding human heads on the covers and rape scenes to children....So the industry policed itself. Marvel moved away from that standard in the 2000s. They introduced straight up woke in their comics, having nothing to stop them....

       so now there are rumors that Marvel is going to use this X-Men movie to go full woke on the audience. They've already co-opted the characters. So now it looks like they are going to take the movie vehicle and plan to bring their religion to the masses. Let's hope not and they just choose to tell a cool story with good CGI.
