       For the first time since the war began, Iranian officials have announced a shift from a "defensive posture" to a "fully offensive" policy.According to Reuters, the IRGC has set a deadline of a few weeks for the U.S. to comply with the terms of the Islamabad MoU, stating that they will not tolerate the naval blockade for much longer.Consequently, it is possible that in the coming weeks Iran will attempt to target U.S. naval forces in the Gulf of Oman, including the aircraft carriers USS George Washington and USS George H.W. Bush.

       @chitchatkat1 the ships only have so many defensive missiles. Once those are used up they're sitting ducks. They'll be forced to flee to Diego Garcia about 2,000 kilometers away

       @GenesRus just launch a few hundred missiles at the USS lincoln. A few may get through but even if not, they'll exhaust their defensive missiles and be forced to retreat.Rinse repeat. Eventually we'll run out of ship based defensive missiles and our aircraft carriers will be essentially useless.
