       @sean_ae @flornt @uucidl so many “no ball games” signs, so much cars parking where they should not. I think most people don’t want to see kids playing because it’s noisy and parents don’t want neighbours to come and complain. Not only that that, it’s also because some parents want to control who their kids are seeing and playing with.Deptford has a nice playground with basketball courts which is also home to the roller disco community… so there is that.

       @kaneel @flornt @uucidl who tf are these people complaining, what a load of losersone bonfire night a lad on our estate lifted a load of fence panels off one of the houses backing onto the field and just chucked them on the bonfire. guy who's house it was came out and chased him. fun times. idk if i can ever rem anyone 'complaining' though

       @kaneel @sean_ae @flornt @uucidl I've always been quite happy to see that kids seem to be fairly independent early on in Berlin. I'd see pretty young kids walking to school by themselves, like 6 or 7 years old. Also going off on bikes early too.

       @ebauche @sean_ae @flornt @uucidl London still work by having a lot of teens going to secondary by themselves tho. My daughter is 15 and come back home later when she has to go to music school but still, it aint the same as seeing kids playing in the streets
