       5-6 years ago, this teen set up a fedi instance called berries.space for other teens.  eventually he got bored of it and decided to shut it down.well, the fucking archive team decided they needed to drop everything and archive every post on the instanceand like normally? I like archive teambut that bullshit didn't need to be archived

       but... think of it this way.we used to use myspace, right?say some magical archive of everyone's myspace pages got dropped tomorrow, and we could see anyone's myspace page, evanescence MP3s and all.most people are probably going to be mortified by that, frankly.

       @ariadne Heh reminds me that there's an archive of Skyblogs (somewhat like myspace but french, way more street, but also still lot of cringe stuff as lot of kids used it) at the national archives of France.Thankfully only available offline.
