       @fribbledom that's a pretty limited view on a common household task for (still) many women, people who sew as a hobby or otherwise, people who like or even work in fashion (hobby or professionally)...

       @sushee Gosh, if you really enjoy it, I didn't mean to criticize your hobby. I respect the heck out of a skilled sewer. To me though, ironing is just the most tedious chore imaginable 🙈

       @fribbledom   I didn't mind ironing til I did it while my mom was in the hospital when I was twelve, so I ironed my dad's shirts. He didn't like how I did it so he re-did them.  I took that as criticism of my ironing and I hated ironing after that. I don't do it unless absolutely necessary now.
