       @ChristiJunior Do Brits really?Are they seriously complaining about shit that went down in the 11th century? :pepedisappoint: Just to be curious, are those same English and Anglophiles also vocal about what a tragedy it is that Britain is getting overrun by third-worlders or is it one of those cases where the hatred is reserved for White people only?

       @Rasterman To be fair, The Spectator is quite rightwing by British standards, and part of the complaints about the Vikings is that them practicing slavery gets glossed over because the slaves they took were White.That said, the Arab slave trade was far more widespread than the Viking one, and had a far more pernicious racial and religious element that's way more relevant today. I don't really see how getting Norwegians to become ashamed of their Viking ancestors will make anything better for White people.

       @ChristiJunior @Rasterman Nobody thinks the vikings were paragons of morality, just that they were cool, which they were. I'm more concerned about the people who are rationalizing atrocities against whites today, and I don't think Norwegians feature prominently in that.

       @ChristiJunior @Rasterman Something I think a lot of people either don't realize or perhaps don't think about, is all the names of British towns and legal customs that have their origins with the Danelaw era of Norse settlement of England.Probably the funniest story, is one of an account of an English Woman, complaining about how hard it is to seduce a Norseman because he won't stop grooming himself long enough for her to ply her wiles upon him.
