       I just hate that so many people who never had a programming job because they actually never cared of learning are now making music software as a side hustle (wasting tokens from their real hustle?) thinking they want a piece of the cake that is getting slimmer and slimmer for the actual teams who made software we used and cherished. There is this lingering pestilence you know, the "I can have it too", without all the extra efforts because it's all about them. You have actual teams behind software that have tried to make good decisions for years (despite constant deprecations and bad decisions at OS level) so we can keep our dream alive and this is how we thank them? Because "idea people" want their ideas to be done by others, idea people used to struggle to raise funds, so now they're fucking happy they have their new slaves at a fraction of the price.

       So yeah, what… Ableton Live "cost too much", this is a lot of people getting a good enough salary in order to make a great music software that work. You don't like Live? Fine, Renoise was started by a one-man great software dev (ex Ableton, btw) who took it from an already existing codebase and made it something awesome with a lot of efforts (two decades, two… fucking… decades),. I'm not against progress folks, I'm only respecting efforts made by amazing people I respect (and sometimes have met) who actually spent a lot of time of their life while the other wankers were just only caring about having their "ideas" pushed, without learning much.Like, I can understand some people want to ask the little slaves to make their prototype real (i.e. you're a musician who need to try something, eventually I get it) but at least don't go and try to take a piece of the cake from the real adults doing real things.

The only way to get rid of that shit is by having a least some tiny wee bit of standards.        @Rushup_Dee to be very far, mid price point of Live gets you far. Suite gets you EVERYWHERE ENOUGH. Shit ffs, some samples from everywhere you can, an old tracker, you're _MAKING_ we all know that.
