@LoliHat My first D&D character was a human wizard that ended up harvesting the organs of the crew of the ship he was on. I suppose I fit in the Postal part? I was playing a lot of Rimworld at the time and was harvesting organs like mad which played a part in my decisions.

@Kyonko802 @LoliHat My second D&D character got turned into a skeleton, that one was probably closer to Doom guy in personality, dying in a glorious battle with a horde of monsters. Haven't played since, getting into a group is hard :hoshino_weary:

@poopernova @Kyonko802 I once ran a one shot where the players were supposed to accompany a researcher who's wife was researching some ruins and was kidnapped. They got the researcher addicted to the fantasy equivalent of cocaine and then took advantage of his despair when he found out his wife was dead to convince him to let the party mercy kill him so that he "could be with his wife again".

@LoliHat @Groomschild @poopernova So when I describe this you're going to have to keep in mind that this is basically the first chunk of TTRPGs I've played.Basically the system works like "the players say what they do in any order they want, and then things happen as players act." Essentially one player speaks up and says "I do a thing" and then the GM goes "OK here is your roll to do the thing and now this happens, what do you guys do next between you guys."It's very not-number-crunchy, simplified, and definitely made for retards who have never played a TTRPG before.The problem is that GbM has 9 skills that you can roll and basically all of them are social skills, so it's basically a game about talking down the bad guy and using your FEELINGS to fight. That's retarded and I basically just painted over the skill names to unfuck it a little, then I changed how XP is distributed to unfuck it a little more.

Learned the rules, set up a character and played a short scenario within four hours. I enjoyed it and you have a lot of flexibility with the character. Know the guy who put it together.
