       @bunni@raru.re It's an Android handheld but it does let you install certain Linux oses onto it with a lot of tinkering. Mainly used to support Rocknix specifically but there's a project called Armada-OS that uses that to install what is basically SteamOS (although it's also Fedora based so I guess it is similar to Bazzite in that way)Over all I wouldn't recommend installing Linux on it because game support is weirdly enough worse than GameNative on Android and if I'm not mistaken you lose a lot of functionality of the 2nd screen but it's nice that it's an option? Hopefully they keep working on it and it gets better.

       @bunni@raru.re I wouldn't really recommend it, it's a bit janky especially since a lot of the best parts of Android gaming is now just emulators which aren't perfect.I kinda hated it at first because I don't like Android but after GameNative started getting good I ended up playing it more than my Steam Deck and even desktop simply because it's actually... you know, portable, I can actually fit it in a pocket/purse and it being a bit physically lighter also makes me pick it up a bit more even when playing around the house. I never really use it for 3DS games though even though that was kind of the whole point ​:akko_giggle:​

       @che5hire yes it's nice that it's small enough to be actually a handheld (whereas steamdeck I only play at home it's too big, but I didn't expect anything more from it, it's my gaming pc I don't have anything else)

       @bunni@raru.re Yeah if it's your only device it's not very good, another thing to note is that GameNative also just flat out doesn't work with online games at all, it's offline only on top of all the other issues the x86>ARM emulator has. I'm still refusing to part with my Deck even if it's just collecting dust most of the time.
