@trekrich I think a big part of the problem is the shift to hundreds of millions of dollars being spent on 8 to 10 episodes seasons. But the biggest problem is they don't have anyone who can write worth a damn left in the industry. And the few that can believe they have to only work on "prestige" series - which results in this death spiral for television.Multiple years between seasons just isn't a workable model.@Dan_Ramos

@DaddyO @trekrich No kidding! Between seasons one and two, people will have aged out, gotten out of shape or experienced health problems, possibly died off. ...and that goes for both the cast AND the audience! By the time they get to season three, their audience will have died of old age!
