       Another controversial opinion:People on welfare should be punished for having kids after going on welfare.Not sure I'm ready to say take away their kids and boot them off the system, but maybe make them take a year of adulting classes if they get pregnant after going on the dole.  Classes about parenting and budgeting and learning a skill.And if they don't attend the class, they go to jail and get their benefits cut.No more baby factories.

       I say "people" instead of "women" because men on welfare should be penalized for getting women pregnant if they can't support the kids.My tax money, my rules.  Don't like it?  Get a job.

       @leyonhjelm The problem is the kids still need to be fed and housed.  If eligibility ends, the state needs to take away the kids, and now everything is more complicated and expensive.Making the mothers jump through annoying hoops to maintain their benefits should provide a deterrent and maybe the ones who go through the classes will learn something.
