if i'm not mistaken, the classic MNT Reform is now available, in a backwards and forwards compatible configuration, since a longer time (2020-2026) than the Amiga 500 was (1987-1992)

(the main difference is of course the scale, commodore sold a whopping 2.6 million units back then, we're somewhere in the single digit thousands, so only 0.1% of that scale ^^)

@eliza oh wow yeah that's a big step. i also had a speccy, but a c64 sandwiched in before the a500. computers were passed down from family members as i was growing up, and they were already a bit outdated, so one could get ok deals in local classifieds
