       Also, ugh, I think the USB-C port on my phone is finally starting to give up the ghost, it'll flicker in and out and then suddenly the phone will go "connected but not charging"I really can't afford a new phone right now, please, ugh.

       @lethalbit You might try cleaning the port. My phone had increasing difficulty charging, and when I took it in to the store, they said it had bellybutton lint, or words to that effect. They cleaned it, and all was well

       @lethalbit I had similar symptoms with a Samsung Android and took it to the local fix-it place, and found they could replace a module in the phone. Pretty happy with the service. Price was fair, and took 15 minutes.
