       big fire plumes break my puny human brain because they're so bighey tangentially you ever think about how we're living in the smallest sliver of time our universe will probably support life of our type. or how it will take 3000y for the voyager craft to travel through the oort cloud and leave the solar system fully.things are so big and we are so small and temporary

       @castanea_jo I think a lot about how galaxies are getting futher away so there is a time limit on intergalactic travel being feasible, and it would take life too long to re-evolve from monocellular life even if it went twice as fast for that lifeform to be able to even SEE other galaxies in the sky.Like, that we can see other galaxies is a gift of our position in time, and all I can do is fail to appreciate it enough, every day.
