       @carolen It's more data storage for the metadata they want and they can encode the data any way they want. At least the QR is a standard and you be able to read it, but probably not understand what the code means. Luckily the corporations are slow to move and decoding the resulting scans will probably happen naturally. Unless... "If person is white, charge them twice as much.":pepe_lmao:

       @Fox yeah didn't copy the target of the QR code, it goes to tesco dot com but wouldn't resolve on my phone (or at least, didn't return any information at the time)
