People just ignored the Nexon logo that's been there since launch and hoped the first few years being good would mean nothing bad to come.

@CleverMoniker @grey they changed the gacha system from a spark at 200 rolls system to the 50/50 shit hoyofags havebefore if you got lucky and got the student before 200 rolls, you could spark the other bannernow your progress is reset when you get the character you want, meaning if there's 2 banners you're rolling for you're guaranteed to be spending way more than you would before

Leave a game for a few years to see if it's got a strong enough constant flow of profit. Then, once the steady flow is confirmed, implement the strategies to maximize monetization. I find it amusing though that some people are still trying their hardest to blame the EA exec who got hired for this. I'm starting to think most Blue Archive players genuinely do not know a thing about Nexon. The EA guy may have helped push it through, but Nexon was always Nexon.
