       "Worse on Purpose" is great. It focuses on consumer products, and their relentless decline in quality as brands get absorbed by enshittification-happy financial manipulators.        @dangillmor Backpacks are a perfect example...one company bought up all the good brands and turned them into crap. I couldn't replace my Jandd frame pack if I had to.At least we still have Patagonia.

       @dangillmor The premise of WOP hits a loud harmony with my own skepticism and many disappointments with commerce.  I note the misgivings about the production of the content but was not put off by the essay on Pirsig.  In the age of statistically simulated thought, "trust but verify" becomes "subscribe but question every assertion".
