       I find these really interesting – this strange hybrid of very old-school displays that only showed a few options, married with vector fonts, but shown as dots, all using pretty modern LED tech.

       @mwichary Those were on the NJ Turnpike until the late 2000s, although by then hardly any of the neon tubes still worked.

       @vwestlife @mwichary I thought they looked familiar. I spent so much time on the New Jersey Turnpike going to and from my grandma's house as a kid.
