       If you're rewriting Pacman on Arch in Rust, can you please also make it so that it understands common package management syntax?You know, human-like commands like "install", "update" and "upgrade". The fact that you have to remember some kind of -S -Sy -Syuu arcane magic in order to use it is kinda pissing me off, to be honest.

       @drq I still have to look it up every time what the flag is for "uninstall package and any dependencies that will be orphaned" cuz I don't use it enough to have it memorized

       @riverpunk And you don't need to! Unless you're a software freak who's out to try everything under the Sun or do it professionally, you don't need to manage your software all that often really. You install it, it works, you update it, end of story.

       @drq good news for you then: all package management logic of pacman had already been abstracted away behind libalpm. Pacman is just a frontend here, you can write your own one
