       @lobo what anthropic is saying is that china does not have access to EULV lithography equipment, so they can't make chips with the same transistor densities.but, largely, i am not sure it matters.  inference needs tile-based matmul.  they can make up the difference by sharding the tiles across multiple chiplets and more aggressive cooling.

       @ariadne @lobo I got hearsay that their EULV problem is either solved already or will be very soon. Like, the west can export-restrict ASML all they want and soon it won’t matter
